Harbour View of the Trinité sur Mer
You can watch the boats coming and going from the terrace at the Hotel-Restaurant Ostréa which is ideally located opposite the Trinité sur Mer marina.
Today, this port is one of Brittany's main marinas. Its ideal position at the end of an estuary means it can accommodate large racing boats, especially multihulled boats (catamarans, trimarans), which come here to prepare for round the world races.
Just smile and soak it all in: you have the best seat in the house !
Trinité-sur-Mer is Brittany's 3rd port and has been a firm favourite with lovers of sailing the world over ever since Eric Tabarly honed his passion or sailing here. Open onto Quiberon bay, this natural body of water benefits from conditions which resemble the ideal natural conditions for sailing, and also for oyster farming. Several regattas take place here like the 'Spi Ouest France' and the 'Trophée Claire-Fontaine', and in the off season the famous winter training takes place here every second week
